Amplio ático con gran terraza privada y vista.
El ático pertenece a una finca bien organizada y tranquila con piscina propia. El apartamento es accesible por ascensor. La terraza privada ofrece vistas al Montgó (montaña emblemática de Xàbia/Jávea).
El casco antiguo (Xàbia Pueblo) y varias tiendas comerciales están a sólo unos minutos a pie desde el apartamento. Ideal para visitas espontáneas a bares y restaurantes, pero también para cocinar por cuenta propia.
La terraza soleada privada tiene forma de L. Una parte es soleada desde la mañana hasta la noche. La parte con las ventanas está orientada al NO y, por lo tanto, tiene sombra natural incluso en verano hasta la tarde. Nuestro apartamento dispone de un área de comedor en el interior, así como en la terraza.
La moderna cocina abierta dispone de cocina de inducción, horno, microondas y una amplia refrigeradora. Por supuesto, no faltan el lavavajillas y la lavadora. La cocina está “totalmente” equipada, incluyendo una cafetera, una tostadora, una batidora y procesador de mano.
En ambos dormitorios hay camas dobles (200 x 180 y 200 x 140). Cada cama doble tiene dos edredones con fundas por separado (estilo nórdico).
Cada baño tiene una ducha, y además cuenta con una secadora de cabello. Encontrarás una primera provisión de toallas limpias y artículos de aseo.
Oficina en casa: En ambos dormitorios hay un pequeño escritorio con una silla de oficina.
Así que durante el día en el apartamento dos personas pueden trabajar sin interrupciones, sin bloquear el salón o la mesa del comedor. Por supuesto, el WIFI está incluido (0,6 GB fibra).
El apartamento está bien aislado (eficiencia energética B), tiene aire acondicionado y calefacción ajustables individualmente para los días fríos de invierno.
Y para tener un mejor sonido, hay una barra de sonido para la TV (43” / 108 cm).

Spacious penthouse apartment with large private roof terrace and view.
Our penthouse belongs to a well-arranged and quiet complex with its own pool. The apartment is accessible by elevator. The private terrace offers views of the Montgó (local mountain of Xàbia/Jávea).
The old town (Xàbia Pueblo) and various shopping facilities are only a few minutes walk away from the apartment. Ideal for spontaneous bar and restaurant visits, but also for self-catering.
The private sun terrace is L-shaped. One part is sunny from morning to evening. The part with the windows is oriented to the NW and therefore has natural shade even in summer until afternoon. Our apartment has a dining area inside and on the terrace.
The modern open kitchen has an induction stove, oven, microwave, and large refrigerator. Of course, the dishwasher and washing machine are not missing. The kitchen is ‘fully’ equipped including a coffee maker, toaster, hand mixer, and hand blender.
In both bedrooms, there are double beds (200 x 180 and 200 x 140). Each double bed has two separately dressed duvets (nordic style).
Each bathroom has a shower. A hairdryer is available too. You will find a first supply of fresh towels and toiletries.
HomeOffice: In both bedrooms, there is a small desk with an office chair. Therefore, in the apartment during the day two people can work undisturbed without blocking the living room or the dining table. WIFI is of course included (connected to 0.6 GB fiber).
Our apartment is well insulated (energy efficiency class B) and has individually adjustable air conditioning and heating for cool winter days.
There is a soundbar for the TV (43” / 108 cm) for better sound.
The pool has a small separated non-swimmer area and a swimmer’s pool; it’s large and deep enough to actually do some swimming.
A private, reserved basement parking space is included. Other free parking (public) is available near the complex. For those arriving without their own car: the bus station is 450 m away (but not visible and audible). A public 50 kW charging station for e-cars is 350 m away.

Großzügig geschnittene Penthouse-Wohnung mit großer privater Dachterrasse und Aussicht.
Das Penthouse gehört zu einer übersichtlichen und ruhigen Anlage mit eigenem Pool. Die Wohnung ist mit einem Aufzug erreichbar. Die private Terrasse bietet Ausblick auf den Montgó (Hausberg von Xàbia/Jávea).
Die Altstadt (Xábia Pueblo) sowie diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur wenige Fußminuten von der Wohnung entfernt. Ideal für spontane Bar- und Restaurantbesuche, aber auch für Selbstversorger.
Die private Sonnen-Terrasse ist L-förmig angelegt. Ein Teil ist von morgens bis abends sonnig. Der Abschnitt mit den Fenstern blickt Richtung NW und hat deshalb auch im Sommer bis zum Nachmittag natürlichen Schatten. Unsere Wohnung hat sowohl innen als auch auf der Terrasse einen Essbereich.
Die moderne offene Küche verfügt über einen Induktionsherd, Backofen, Mikrowelle und großen Kühlschrank. Natürlich fehlt es auch nicht an der Geschirrspül- und der Waschmaschine. Die Küche ist ‘vollständig’ bestückt inkl. Kaffebereiter, Mixer, Toaster und Pürierstab.
In den beiden Schlafzimmern befinden sich jeweils Doppelbetten (200 x 180 bzw. 200 x 140). Je Doppelbett gibt es zwei separat bezogene Bettdecken (nordeuropäischer Stil).
Die Badezimmer haben jeweils eine Dusche. Ein Haartrockner ist vorhanden. Sie finden eine Erstausstattung an frischen Handtüchern und Toilettenartikeln vor.
HomeOffice: In beiden Schlafzimmern steht jeweils ein kleiner Schreibtisch mit Bürostuhl. In der Wohnung können tagsüber also zwei Personen ungestört arbeiten, ohne das Wohnzimmer oder den Esstisch zu blockieren. WIFI ist natürlich inbegriffen (hinter einem 0,6 GB Glasfaser-Anschluss).
Die Wohnung ist gut isoliert (Energieeffizienzklasse B) und hat eine individuell einstellbare Klimaanlage sowie eine Heizung für kühle Wintertage.
Zum TV (43” / 108 cm) gibt es eine Soundbar für den besseren Klang.
Der Pool hat einen kleinen abgetrennten Nichtschwimmer-Bereich und ein Schwimmer-Becken; es ist groß und tief genug, um tatsächlich etwas zu schwimmen.
Ein privater, reservierter Tiefgaragenplatz ist inklusive. Weitere kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten (öffentlich) befinden sich in der Nähe der Anlage. Für Anreisende ohne eigenes Auto: Der Busbahnhof ist 450 m entfernt (aber nicht sicht- und hörbar). Eine öffentliche 50 kW Ladestation für e-Autos ist 350 m entfernt.

[ES] El camino a la playa …
El camino más corto (a pie) hacia el mar es siguiendo el río “Gorgos”. En verano, el agua fluye muy raramente por el cauce del río. Sin embargo, el curso del cauce del río puede fácilmente verse como orientación.
Desde el apartamento, camina en dirección a Lidl o McDonald’s. Allí cruzas la vía principal. Desde el paso peatonal, mantente a la derecha y toma la primera calle pequeña, que está antes del puente o del río. Después de unos 100 m, gira a la derecha de nuevo en la amplia avenida peatonal que bordea el río. A partir de aquí, el camino está prácticamente libre de coches.
Al final de la avenida hay un puente desde donde ya se ve el mar. Aquí cruza al otro lado del río y recorre el resto del camino a lo largo del río.
… luego a la izquierda
Allí donde desemboca el cauce seco del río, gira a la izquierda por el paseo marítimo hasta el pequeño puerto. Debajo del paseo marítimo se encuentra la hermosa playa de la ciudad llamada Playa de la Grava.
La zona del puerto colindante a este paseo marítimo cuenta con algunos hoteles boutique, así como con una gran variedad de restaurantes y tiendas que son frecuentadas no sólo por turistas, sino también por los residentes de Jávea.
La mayoría de las casas están habitadas por residentes locales. Esto significa que esta parte de la ciudad no está copada por turistas incluso en verano.
… o hacia la derecha
A la derecha está la Playa del Primer Muntanyar, una playa formada principalmente por rocas y grava, con algunos chiringuitos de verano. Por lo demás, detrás de la playa hay residencias privadas. A lo largo de la playa, la Avinguda del Mediterrani nos lleva hasta el Arenal.
Aquí sólo está permitido conducir despacio. Hay carriles adicionales para peatones, corredores y ciclistas.
El Arenal es el área predominantemente turística de Jávea. Allí se encuentra la famosa playa de arena fina Playa El Arenal, que es más o menos una cala dentro de la bahía. En verano suele ser un poco más concurrida, pero sigue siendo una bonita playa, especialmente para familias con niños. Desde los más pequeños hasta los adultos, aquí todos encuentran algo: áreas de juego, cafeterías, restaurantes y tiendas.
A poca distancia
Al sur de la gran “bahía de Xàbia”, la costa es muy rocosa. Allí también hay playas en las calas, como la playa rocosa con cuevas y arcos de piedra llamada Cala Blanca o Cala Barraca (Portitxol) con sus casitas de pescadores con fachadas blancas y puertas pintadas de azul. De estas playas, una de la más famosa de Jávea es: Cala Granadella.
En las aguas, en su mayoría cristalinas, a menudo se pueden observar innumerables peces mientras se practica snorkel. Como esta cala es tan bonita, se llena de gente en verano. Sin embargo, no deberías dejar de visitarla.
Nuestro consejo: En octubre hay poca gente y el agua del mar todavía es agradable con cálidas temperaturas. La foto de aquí fue tomada en otoño del 2021.
[EN] The way to the beach …
The shortest way (on foot) to the sea is following the river “Gorgos”. In summer, water flows very rarely along the riverbed. However, the course of the riverbed can be seen easily as orientation.
At the end of the avenue, there is a bridge from where you can already see the sea. Here cross to the other side of the river and walk the rest of the way along the river.
From the apartment, walk in the direction of Lidl or McDonald’s. There you cross the main road. From the crosswalk, keep right and take the first small street, which is before the bridge of the river. After about 100 m, turn right again on the wide pedestrian avenue along the river. From here on, your way is practically free of cars.
… then to the left
Where the dry river bed flows out, turn left along the promenade to the small port. Below the promenade is the beautiful city beach called Playa de la Grava (the beach of pebbles).
The promenade adjacent to this port area has some boutique hotels, as well as a variety of bars and stores that are visited not only by tourists, but also by the residents of Jávea.
The majority of the houses here are lived in by locals. That means, this part of the city is not dominated by tourists even in summer.
… or to the right
To the right is Playa del Primer Muntanyar, a beach made up mostly of rocks and gravel, with some nice summer beach bars. Otherwise, behind the beach there are private residences. Along the beach, the Avenida del Mediterrani leads to Arenal.
Here is only allowed to drive slowly. There are extra lanes for pedestrians, joggers and cyclists.
Arenal is the most touristic area of Jávea. There is the famous fine sandy beach, Playa El Arenal, which is more or less a cove inside the bay. In Summer it is often a bit crowded, but still it is a nice beach especially for families with children. From the youngest to adults, everyone finds something here: playgrounds, cafes, restaurants and stores.
A short trip
South of the large “bay of Xàbia”, the coast becomes very rocky. Beaches are there again in bays (so-called calas), like the rocky beach with caves and stone arches called Cala Blanca (White Bay) or the pebble beach Cala Barraca (Portitxol) with its white-blue fishermen’s cottages. From these beaches, one is the most famous in Jávea: Cala Granadella.
In the mostly crystal clear waters, you can often observe countless fish while snorkeling. As this cove is so beautiful, it gets very crowded in summer. However, you should not miss it.
Our tip: In October there are few people and the seawater is still pleasant with warm temperatures. The photo here was taken in Autumn 2021.
[DE] Der Weg zum Strand …
Der kürzeste (Fuss-) Weg zum Meer folgt dem Fluss “Gorgos”. Im Sommer fließt nur ganz selten Wasser durch das Flussbett. Der Verlauf des Flussbetts ist trotzdem nicht zu übersehen und ist eine gute Orientierung.
Vom Apartment erst einmal Richtung Lidl bzw. McDonald’s gehen. Dort die große Straße überqueren. Vom Fussgängerüberweg aus rechts halten und gleich die erste kleine Straße vor der Brücke bzw. dem Fluss abbiegen. Nach ca. 100 m geht es dann wieder rechts in die breite Fussgänger-Allee am Fluss entlang. Ab hier ist der Weg überwiegend autofrei.
Am Ende der Allee ist eine Brücke, von der aus man das Meer bereits sieht. Hier zur anderen Seite des Flusses wechseln. Den Rest des Weges einfach weiter am Fluss entlang laufen.
… dann nach links
Dort, wo das trockene Flussbett mündet, geht es nach links über die Strandpromenade bis zum kleinen Hafen. Unterhalb der Promenade liegt der schöne Stadtstrand namens Playa de la Grava (der Strand der Kiesel).
Das an diese Promenade angrenzende Hafenviertel hat einige Boutique-Hotels sowie vielfältige Lokale und Geschäften, die nicht nur Urlauber, sondern auch die Anwohner von Jávea nutzen.
Der überwiegende Teil der Häuser hier wird von Einheimischen bewohnt. Das heißt, dieser Stadtteil wird auch im Sommer nicht von Touristen dominiert.
… oder nach rechts
Nach rechts liegt die Playa del Primer Muntanyar, ein Strand, der vor allem aus Felsen und Kies besteht, und an dem sich einige schöne Sommerstrandbars befinden. Ansonsten sind hinter dem Strand private Wohnhäuser. Am Strand entlang führt die Avinguda del Mediterrani Richtung Arenal.
Hier ist für Autos nur langsames Fahren erlaubt. Es gibt Extra-Spuren für Fußgänger, Jogger bzw. Radfahrer.
Arenal ist der überwiegend touristische Stadtteil von Jávea. Dort liegt quasi als Bucht in der Bucht der berühmte flache Sandstrand Playa El Arenal. Hier ist es im Sommer oft etwas voller – aber trotzdem ist es ein schöner Strand vor allem für Familien mit Kindern. Von den Kleinsten bis zu den Erwachsenen finden hier alle etwas: Spielplätze, Cafés, Restaurants und Geschäfte.
Mit kleiner Anreise
Südlich von der großen ‘Xàbia-Bucht’ wird die Küste sehr felsig. Strände gibt es dort wiederum in Buchten (sog. calas), wie der Felsenstrand mit Höhlen und Steinbögen namens Cala Blanca (Weiße Bucht) oder der Kieselstrand Cala Barraca (Portitxol) mit seinen weiß-blauen Fischerhäuschen. Von diesen Stränden ist einer weit über Jávea hinaus berühmt: Cala Granadella.
Im meist glasklaren Wasser kann man beim Schnorcheln oft unzählige Fische beobachten. Weil es dort so schön ist, wird es im Sommer hier allerdings richtig voll. Man sollte es trotzdem einfach mal gesehen haben.
Unser Tipp: Im Oktober gibt es wenig Menschen und das Wasser ist noch angenehm warm. Das Foto hier wurde im Herbst 2021 aufgenommen.

… ciudad pequeña, pero con un encanto gigantesco. Jávea o Xàbia (en valenciano) está situada entre los cabos rocosos de San Antonio y la Nao, a los pies del Montgó, a unos 100 km al sur de Valencia y a unos 90 km al norte de Alicante.
Esta pequeña ciudad no sólo ofrece su excelente gastronomía mediterránea, hermosas calas y playas, sino también uno de los mejores microclimas del mundo.
Jávea se compone de tres distritos distintos: el casco antiguo, el puerto y el Arenal (el paseo marítimo). El casco antiguo, con sus edificios históricos y sus calles estrechas, y el puerto, con su mercado pesquero y su larga playa de gravas y rocas, albergan principalmente a los residentes locales de Jávea. El Arenal es la parte más turística de Jávea, con numerosas tiendas y restaurantes y una playa de arena muy popular.

… small town, but with a gigantic charm. Jávea or Xàbia (in Valencian) is located between the rocky capes of San Antonio and Nao, at the foot of the Montgó mountain, about 100 km south of Valencia and about 90 km north of Alicante.
This small town offers more than its excellent Mediterranean gastronomy, beautiful coves and beaches, but also one of the best microclimates in the world.
Jávea is divided into three distinct areas: the old town (Jávea Pueblo), the port (Jávea Puerto) and Arenal (the beach area). The old town, with its historic landmarks/buildings and narrow streets, and the port, with its fish market and long pebble beach, are home mostly to Jávea’s local residents. Arenal is the more tourist area of Jávea, with numerous stores and restaurants, as well as the particularly popular sandy beach.
Refugio Xàbia is located in a quiet residential area, but close to the old town with its quaint tapas bars and restaurants. Also, shopping facilities such as Mercadona and Lidl are only about 350 meters away, as is the beach, which is only 1,150 meters away.

Dieser kleine Ort bietet mehr als nur seine vorzügliche mediterrane Gastronomie, herrliche Buchten und Strände, sondern auch eines der besten Mikroklimas der Welt an.
Jávea besteht aus drei unterschiedlichen Stadtteilen: die Altstadt, den Hafen und Arenal (die Strandpromenade). Die Altstadt mit ihren historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten/Gebäuden und engen Gassen sowie das Hafenviertel mit seinem Fischmarkt und dem langen Kieselstrand beherbergen überwiegend die lokalen Anwohner von Jávea.
